1. Nature of the Service

Resume Truth ("we", "us", "the Platform") is an AI-assisted informational and advisory tool operated in India. We analyse resume documents uploaded by users and generate scores, feedback, keyword suggestions, rewritten sections and template outputs using large language models and automated heuristics.

We are not a recruitment agency, employment exchange, placement consultant, career counsellor, chartered career advisor, or a "manpower supplier" as defined under any Indian labour or employment statute. We do not source jobs, forward resumes to employers, negotiate offers, or represent any candidate before any employer.

2. No Guarantee of Outcomes

All scores, probabilities, salary bands, "ATS scores", "recruiter impression scores", "rejection probability", "job match" figures, projected improvements and any comparative statements ("Top 10%", "Top 25%", etc.) are statistical estimates generated by AI models on the basis of the text you upload. They are not predictions, promises, warranties or professional opinions.

We expressly make no representation or warranty, express or implied, that:

• You will receive any interview call, shortlist, offer, salary hike, promotion, visa, admission, or employment of any kind;
• The salary ranges shown reflect what any specific employer will pay you;
• Any output is free from error, omission, bias, or hallucination inherent to generative AI;
• Any resume produced by our CV Builder will pass any specific Applicant Tracking System (ATS), recruiter, HR team, or hiring manager.

Employment outcomes depend on factors entirely outside our control including but not limited to market conditions, employer preferences, interview performance, background verification, references, and your own conduct.

3. AI-Generated Content

Outputs are produced by third-party large language models. Such models are known to occasionally produce inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, or fabricated information ("hallucinations"). You must independently verify every fact, figure, keyword, skill claim, employer name, date, certification, and salary figure before relying on or submitting any AI-generated content to any third party.

You are solely responsible for the final content of any resume you send to any employer. Submitting false, misleading or fabricated information in a resume may constitute an offence under Sections 316, 318 and 336 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (cheating and forgery) and may attract civil and criminal liability. We disclaim all responsibility for such misuse.

4. Not Legal, Financial, Tax, Immigration, Medical or Professional Advice

Nothing on this Platform constitutes legal advice, financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, immigration advice, medical advice, psychological counselling, or advice from a chartered/certified professional. Salary benchmarks are indicative market data only and are not an offer, quote, or professional valuation. For binding advice, consult a qualified professional licensed in your jurisdiction.

5. User Responsibilities and Warranties

By uploading a document you represent and warrant that:

• The document is yours or you have full legal right to upload it;
• The content is truthful and does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, confidentiality obligation, NDA, or right to privacy;
• You will not upload resumes belonging to other individuals without their explicit consent as required under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act");
• You will not use the Platform to commit fraud, misrepresentation, identity theft, or any offence under the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, or any other applicable law.

6. Payments, Pricing and Refunds

All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR / ₹) and are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless expressly stated otherwise. Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, an RBI-authorised payment aggregator; we do not store your card, UPI, or banking credentials.

Because our services are digital, personalised and delivered instantly upon payment, all sales are final and non-refundable once the report or download has been generated, save where required by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. Please review our Refund Policy before purchasing.

Chargebacks or payment disputes raised without first contacting our support team at support@resumetruth.in will be contested with evidence of digital delivery.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

The Platform integrates third-party services including Razorpay (payments), Google (authentication, Search Console), and cloud infrastructure providers. Their use of your data is governed by their privacy policies and terms. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, downtime, security, or content of any third party.

8. Intellectual Property

All software, design, brand elements, prompts, templates, scoring methodology, and platform content are the exclusive property of Resume Truth and its licensors, protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999. You may use outputs generated for your own resume for personal, non-commercial job-seeking purposes only. Any reverse engineering, scraping, resale, redistribution, model training, or bulk extraction is strictly prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, our aggregate liability to any user for any claim arising out of or connected with the Platform — whether in contract, tort, statute, or otherwise — is limited to the amount actually paid by that user to us in the ninety (90) days preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is lower.

We shall not be liable, under any circumstances, for:

• Loss of employment, offer, promotion, salary, business, revenue, goodwill, reputation, or opportunity;
• Indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages;
• Any loss arising from reliance on AI-generated content;
• Any act or omission of any third-party employer, recruiter, ATS vendor, payment gateway, or infrastructure provider;
• Force majeure events including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, cyberattacks, government action, internet outage, or ISP failure.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Resume Truth, its founders, directors, employees, contractors and affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, penalty, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these terms, your misuse of the Platform, your submission of false or infringing content, or your violation of any applicable law.

11. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with the DPDP Act, 2023 and our Privacy Policy. You may exercise your rights of access, correction, erasure and grievance redressal by writing to our Grievance Officer at support@resumetruth.in.

12. Grievance Redressal (IT Rules, 2021)

In compliance with Rule 3(2) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and Section 10 of the DPDP Act, 2023:

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute shall be first attempted to be resolved amicably; failing which, it shall be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator appointed by us, seated at New Delhi, conducted in English under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Subject to arbitration, the courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

14. Changes to this Disclaimer

We may update this Disclaimer at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance. Please re-read this page periodically.
