Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding electronic contract between you ("User", "you") and Resume Truth ("we", "us") under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and Section 10A of the Information Technology Act, 2000. By creating an account, uploading a resume, or making a payment, you accept these Terms in full.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to contract under Indian law. By registering you warrant that all information you provide is true, current and complete.

2. Account & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@resumetruth.in of any unauthorised access.

3. Acceptable Use

You must not:

• Upload resumes belonging to any other person without their explicit written consent;
• Upload malware, illegal content, or content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
• Use the Platform to defraud, deceive, harass, or defame any person or entity;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, bulk-download, or use the Platform to train competing AI models;
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute any output;
• Circumvent paywalls, rate limits, or the 5-resume-per-user cap.

Violation may result in immediate termination, forfeiture of fees, and referral to law enforcement under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

4. Paid Services & Pricing

• Full Report Unlock: ₹199 (INR, inclusive of applicable GST)
• CV Builder Download: ₹499 (INR, inclusive of applicable GST)

Prices may change; the price displayed at checkout is binding for that transaction. Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Pvt Ltd.

5. Digital Delivery & Refunds

Reports and CV downloads are digital, personalised and delivered instantly. In line with our Refund Policy and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, once a report has been generated or a CV downloaded, the transaction is final and non-refundable except in the specific cases listed in the Refund Policy.

6. AI Output Disclaimer

All outputs are AI-generated estimates. We make no guarantee of employment, interviews, salary, or accuracy. See our full Disclaimer. You alone are responsible for verifying and using AI outputs.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, its code, design, brand, prompts, scoring methodology, and templates are our exclusive property. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use outputs solely for your own job-seeking purposes.

Content you upload remains yours. By uploading you grant us a limited licence to process it for the purpose of providing the Service.

8. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, without refund, if you breach these Terms, misuse the Platform, or engage in fraudulent payment behaviour (including unjustified chargebacks). You may delete your account at any time by writing to support@resumetruth.in.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid by you to us in the ninety (90) days preceding the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is lower. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or opportunity losses. Full terms in the Disclaimer.

10. Indemnity

You indemnify us against any third-party claim arising from your breach of these Terms, your uploaded content, or your misuse of the Platform.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control including natural disasters, pandemics, government action, cyberattacks, or internet/ISP outage.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be resolved by arbitration by a sole arbitrator seated at New Delhi under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Subject to arbitration, courts at New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction.

13. Grievance Officer

As required under Rule 3(2) of the IT Rules, 2021: support@resumetruth.in — acknowledgement within 24 hours, resolution within 15 days.

14. Changes

We may amend these Terms. Material changes will be notified. Continued use = acceptance.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Disclaimer, form the entire agreement between you and us and supersede any prior understanding.
